Compressor Does Not Stop When a Fault Occurs or Stop Is Pressed
Review Enbase troubleshooting checks when a compressor does not stop after a fault or when the Stop command is pressed.
If the compressor does not stop when a Fault occurs or when Stop is pressed, use the checks below based on how the Enbase Panel is interfaced with the engine.
Safety First
Follow your company approved safety procedures. If troubleshooting requires disconnecting or reconnecting a cable, first ensure the area is non hazardous. If in doubt, contact Enbase Support.
For Direct Engine Control
- Check that the Ignition lead and fuel valve lead are securely connected to their corresponding terminal blocks in the panel.
For OEM Engine Controllers
- Check that the Driven Equipment Ready signal lead is securely connected to the corresponding terminal block in the panel.
Check the Fault Input
- If the fault is coming from a Normally Open sensor, troubleshoot the sensor and grounding.
- For Digital Inputs, confirm that the selector switch for Normally Open or Normally Closed matches the connected sensor type.
When to Contact Enbase Support
If the compressor still does not stop as expected, contact Enbase Support before changing shutdown logic, wiring, or control configuration. Provide the asset name, observed fault or Stop condition, and engine control type.
