Connecting to the Enbase Hub
Learn the different ways to connect to the Enbase Hub, including Dashboard access, local Control Panel connections, and Guest Access.
The Enbase Hub can be accessed in several ways depending on your role, permissions, and the task you need to perform.
Users may connect through the Enbase Dashboard to monitor and manage connected devices, or establish a direct local connection to the Hub using the Enbase Hub Control Panel for diagnostics, maintenance, and configuration.
Some users may also connect using Guest Access, which provides read-only access to Hub information.
Before You Connect
Before connecting to the Enbase Hub, ensure you have:
- An active Enbase account (if accessing through the Dashboard)
- The appropriate user role and permissions
- Access to the Hub's local network (for Control Panel access)
- A supported web browser
- Any required network credentials
Connection Methods
Enbase Dashboard
The Enbase Dashboard allows authorized users to:
- Monitor Hub health
- View device status
- Review alarms
- Access connected assets
- Configure the Hub (if permitted)
Dashboard functionality depends on your assigned role and permissions.
Local Hub Connection
A direct connection to the Hub allows users to access the Enbase Hub Control Panel using a local Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection.
This method is commonly used for:

Local access may require physical access to the installation site.
Guest Access
Guest Access allows users to connect to the Hub without making configuration changes.
Guest users can:
- View Hub information

- Verify communication status

Guest Access is intended for monitoring and troubleshooting only.
