Enbase Hub - Troubleshooting

Learn how to identify and troubleshoot common Enbase Hub issues, including connectivity problems, communication failures, power issues, and incorrect data reporting.

Overview

The Enbase Hub is designed to operate reliably in demanding industrial environments. If you experience an issue with your Hub, this guide can help you identify the type of problem and determine the appropriate next steps.

Many issues can be resolved by verifying power, communication, hardware connections, or configuration settings before more advanced troubleshooting is required.

Common Problems

I Can't Access My Enbase Hub

If you're unable to access the Enbase Hub Control Panel, verify your local connection and network settings. Refer to the Enbase Hub Control Panel article for additional guidance.

My Hub Isn't Sending Data

If your Hub appears to be operating but data is not reaching the Detechtion platform, verify the communication method being used and ensure connectivity is available. See the Connectivity Options article for more information.

My Equipment Isn't Communicating

If connected controllers or field devices are not reporting data, verify the communication wiring and configuration between the Hub and the connected equipment.

My Hub Won't Power On

Verify the Hub is connected to a compatible power source and that all power connections are secure. Check for any signs of damaged wiring or electrical issues before contacting support.

My Hub Keeps Disconnecting

Intermittent connectivity may be caused by communication signal quality, network interruptions, or environmental conditions. Verify your communication method and inspect all cables and antennas for damage.

My Data Looks Incorrect

If data appears to be inaccurate or incomplete, verify the connected devices are operating correctly and that the Hub has been configured appropriately for your installation.

Before Contacting Support

If you're unable to resolve the issue, gathering the following information can help our support team troubleshoot more quickly:

  • A description of the issue you're experiencing
  • What you were trying to do when the issue occurred
  • Any error messages displayed
  • Photos of the Hub, wiring, or LED indicators (if applicable)
  • Whether the issue affects one device or multiple devices
  • Whether the issue started after a recent installation, maintenance activity, or configuration change

If available, our support team may also ask for your Hub model or other device information during the troubleshooting process.
