How to Access an Enbase Hub Without Internet Connectivity

Learn how to prepare for authenticated Enbase Hub access when internet connectivity will not be available and how Guest access can be used for read only viewing.

The Enbase Hub Control Panel can be accessed locally even when internet connectivity is not available. The access method depends on whether you need authenticated access or only need to view Hub information.

Authenticated Access Without Internet

Authenticated access is based on your Enbase Dashboard account, role, and permissions. If you will be working at a location where neither your device nor the Hub will have internet connectivity, obtain a connection token before you go to the field.

Obtain a Connection Token Before Going Offline

1. While you still have internet access, sign in to the Enbase Dashboard.

2. Open your user Profile from the account menu.

3. Select the key option in the Profile toolbar.

4. Enter your Enbase Dashboard credentials when prompted.

5. Select Send Email to have the connection token link sent to you.

6. Keep the email or Hub login link available on the device you will use in the field.

Connect to the Hub in the Field

1. Connect your device locally to the Enbase Hub using the Hub Wi Fi network or Ethernet connection.

2. Open the Hub login link from the connection token email.

3. When the Hub Control Panel opens, complete the login process.

Your authenticated access will still be limited to the permissions assigned to your Enbase Dashboard account.

If You Do Not Have the Required Role or Permissions

If your Enbase Dashboard account does not have the permissions required for authenticated Hub access, you cannot use authenticated access simply by connecting to the Hub Wi Fi network.

For local read only access, select Login as Guest on the Hub Control Panel login screen. Guest access allows you to view Hub configuration and monitoring information but does not allow you to make configuration changes.

When to Contact Enbase Support

Contact Enbase Support if you believe you should have authenticated Hub access but your role or permissions do not allow you to connect, or if a valid connection token does not allow you to log in.
