How to Change Timer Presets in the Enbase Compressor Control Panel
Learn where Enbase Compressor Controller timer presets are managed, what types of sequences use timers, and what to consider before changing a timer.
The Enbase Compressor Control Panel uses timers throughout startup, shutdown, alarm arming, and other compressor control sequences. Timer presets should only be changed when the new value has been approved for the specific compressor and application.
Where Timer Presets Are Managed
Application settings, including timer presets, are accessed from the Compressor Controller menu in Hub Control Panel.
- Open the Hub Control Panel and go to the Compressor Controller Home Page.
- Open the Compressor Controller menu.
- Select App Settings.
- Locate the approved timer or application setting that needs to be changed.
- Review the existing value and update only the setting you are authorized to change.
- After the change, test and validate the panel according to your company and site procedures before returning the equipment to normal operation.
Examples of Timer Controlled Functions
The exact settings available depend on the panel configuration. Examples of functions that use timers in the standard Enbase compressor sequence include:
- Class B input arming delays.
- Start warning timing.
- Compressor pre lube and additional pre lube timing.
- Driver start and warmup timing.
- Cooldown timing.
- Driver stop timing.
- Depressurization timing.
- Compressor post lube timing.
Why Timer Changes Matter
Timers are part of the sequence logic that determines when the Enbase Panel moves from one operating state to another. Some timers also affect when safety inputs become armed. An incorrect timer value can therefore change startup, shutdown, or protection behavior.
When to Contact Enbase Support
Contact Enbase Support if you are unsure which timer applies to the behavior you are trying to change, the expected timer is not available in App Settings, or you are unsure how to test the system after the change. The Enbase documentation requires the panel to be thoroughly tested after configuration changes.
