How to Navigate Enalysis
Learn how to navigate the Enalysis dashboard, search for compressor assets, review reports and performance information, and access key asset tools.
Enalysis provides several ways to move from a fleet level view into the detailed information for an individual compressor. This guide introduces the main areas of the application and explains where to find common tools and information.
The information visible in Enalysis is based on the compressor access and areas of responsibility assigned to your user profile.
Start with the Enalysis dashboard
The dashboard provides a fleet level summary so you can quickly review compressor activity, performance, and opportunities that may need attention.
Depending on your access, the dashboard can include:
- A count and horsepower summary of assets by status, including Active, Standby, Database, and Surplus.
- The percentage of active reciprocating and rotary screw compressors that have generated a report within the last 30 days.
- Average horsepower utilization and average cylinder utilization.
- Total horsepower used and total reported throughput.
- Total fuel used and total electricity used.
- Fleet level cash flow opportunities related to Blowby, production, downtime, damage or flags, and potential power savings.
Dashboard links allow you to drill into specific areas of interest instead of reviewing every compressor individually.
Use the dashboard to focus on priority areas
Blowby
The Blowby overview helps identify active units and cylinders that exceed configured warning or critical Blowby thresholds. From this view, you can review the highest Blowby values, trend Blowby and related values, and navigate to the asset Vital Signs or latest Enalysis report.
Flagged assets
The Flagged overview lists active assets with warning or critical flags. You can use this view to identify units that may require further investigation, trend a flagged value, or open the asset Vital Signs or latest report.
Non reported assets
The Non Reported overview identifies active assets that have exceeded their expected reporting interval. Assets are sorted by the number of days overdue, making it easier to identify compressors that may need follow up.
Power saving opportunities
The Savings overview identifies active assets with potential power saving opportunities. For reciprocating compressors, these opportunities can be associated with conditions such as bypass, Blowby, or high interstage pressure drops. For rotary screw compressors, opportunities can include bypass or over compression and under compression.
Production opportunities
The Production overview identifies active assets with potential incremental production opportunities. The list can be used to prioritize higher value opportunities and distinguish between assets categorized as field limited and non field limited.
How to find a compressor
The Asset Search feature is available throughout Enalysis in desktop and mobile views.
You can search for an asset using:
- Detechtion unit number
- Asset name
- Asset location
- Severity level: Normal, Warning, or Severe
- Status: Active, Standby, Database, Surplus, or Archived
- Type: Recip, Screw, or Other
- Area and Field
After locating the compressor, select the asset or the task you want to perform.
Navigate an individual asset
The Asset View brings the main activities and data for a single compressor together in one place. The tools available can include the following areas.
Vital Signs
Vital Signs provides a quick view of the asset's overall performance and access to trends that can help you decide whether additional investigation is needed.
Enalysis Reports
Use Reports to open the latest Enalysis report and review the full diagnostics for the asset. You can move between previous and next reports or select an earlier report from the trend window.
Simulator
Users with Simulator access can evaluate different operating conditions for reciprocating and rotary screw compressors. Simulations can also be sent to your Engineering Account Manager for review.
Setup Review
Setup Review displays the setup information associated with the asset. The setup data can be viewed by section and can be printed or downloaded for sharing.
Enter Data
The Enter Data menu provides access to compressor, driver, and downtime data entry. The data entry workflow uses a tabbed interface and is designed for mobile devices, laptops, and desktop computers.
Files
The Files area allows you to view files associated with an asset and upload additional files. Files can be grouped by type, including Curves, Start up Packages, Photos, and Other.
Asset Log
The Asset Log allows users to record and review notes or correspondence related to an asset. Entries can include file attachments so important information can be referenced later.
Map
The Map provides a location based view of assets that match the selected filter criteria. You can use it to review asset status and move quickly to asset details.
Adjust the Enalysis display
Metric and Imperial units
You can switch between Metric and Imperial units while working in Enalysis. The selected unit preference is retained throughout your session and for your next login. Examples of converted values include volume, mass, temperature, pressure, and distance.
Light and dark mode
Enalysis allows you to switch between light and dark themes. Your theme preference is retained the next time you log in.
Switch between Enalysis versions
Some activities may be available in different versions of Enalysis. A navigation option in the application allows users to move between the newer and Legacy Enalysis experiences when needed.
Need help with an asset or operating question?
The Help area provides access to your Engineering Account Manager's contact information. You can also submit a message to request guidance on optimization opportunities or operating questions.
