Managing Users in Enbase

Learn how to manage user accounts, assign roles, control asset access, and maintain secure access to the Enbase Dashboard.

Overview

The User Management section of the Enbase Dashboard allows authorized administrators to manage user accounts and control access to the system.

Depending on your assigned permissions, you may be able to:

  • Add new users
  • Update existing users
  • Activate or deactivate accounts
  • Assign user roles
  • Manage asset access

            The options available depend on your organization's security configuration.

            Accessing User Management

            To manage users:

            • Sign in to the Enbase Dashboard.
            • Navigate to the Administration section.
            • Select Users.

                  If you do not see the Users section, your account may not have administrative permissions.

                  Managing User Accounts

                  Authorized administrators can perform tasks such as:

                  • Viewing existing users
                  • Updating user information
                  • Assigning roles
                  • Activating or deactivating accounts
                  • Reviewing assigned assets

                            Best Practices

                            • Assign the appropriate role for each user's responsibilities.
                            • Review user access periodically.
                            • Remove or deactivate accounts that are no longer needed.
                            • Ensure contact information remains current.

                                    I Can't Manage Users

                                    • Verify you're signed in with the correct account.
                                    • Confirm your account has administrative permissions.
                                    • Contact your organization's Enbase administrator.
                                    • Contact Compression Support if additional assistance is required.

                                                        What Happens Next?

                                                        • A support ticket is created.

                                                        • The requested changes are completed or additional guidance is provided.
