Searching for Assets in Enbase
Learn how to quickly find assets in the Enbase Dashboard using search tools, asset identifiers, and filtering options.
Overview
The Search feature allows you to quickly locate assets within the Enbase Dashboard.
Depending on your organization's configuration and your assigned permissions, you can search for assets using identifying information such as the asset name or unit number.
If an asset does not appear in your search results, it may not be assigned to your account.
Searching for an Asset
To search for an asset:
- Sign in to the Enbase Dashboard.
- Confirm you are in the correct tenant.
- Locate the Search field.
- Enter the asset name, unit number, or other identifying information.
- Select the asset from the search results to view its details.
Search results are limited to the assets you have permission to access.
Search Tips
- Verify the asset name or unit number is entered correctly.
- Try searching with a partial name if you're unsure of the full asset name.
- Confirm you're signed into the correct account.
- Ensure you have access to the asset you're searching for.
I Can't Find an Asset
- Confirm you are in the correct tenant.
- Verify the asset information is correct.
- Confirm the asset has been assigned to your account.
- Check that you're signed in with the correct email address.
- Contact Compression Support if the asset should be available but does not appear.
