Understanding the Asset Map in Enbase
Learn how to use the Asset Map to locate equipment, verify asset locations, and view assets across multiple operating areas.
Overview
The Map tab displays the geographic location of an asset within the Enbase Dashboard. It provides a visual view of where assets are located, making it easier to identify equipment across multiple sites or operating areas.
The map is intended to help users quickly locate assets and view their locations within their operating environment.
Accessing the Asset Map
To view an asset's location:
- Sign in to the Enbase Dashboard.
- Search for and select the asset you want to review.
- Open the Map tab.
The map displays the recorded location of the selected asset.
Information Displayed
Depending on your organization's configuration, the Map tab may display:
- Asset location
- Asset name
- Geographic position
- Additional location details
The information available may vary depending on your organization's configuration.
Using the Map

- Locate an asset.
- Verify an asset's recorded location.

The Asset Location Doesn't Look Correct
- Verify you are viewing the correct asset.
- Refresh the dashboard if recent changes were made.
- Contact Compression Support if the location appears to be incorrect.
