Understanding Conditional Logic in Enbase

Learn how Basic Enbase Conditional Logic Functions evaluate Boolean conditions using binary, multi input, and NOT operations.

Enbase provides Basic Conditional Logic Functions for evaluating true or false conditions. These Functions return 0 for false and 1 for true.

How Enbase Interprets Boolean Values

For conditional evaluation, a value of zero is considered false and a nonzero value is considered true.

Binary Conditional Operation

Binary Conditional Operation evaluates two operands using AND, OR, XOR, NAND, NOR, or XNOR.

N-ary Conditional Operation

N-ary Conditional Operation applies the selected conditional operation across multiple operand values. Individual operands can also be inverted before evaluation.

Unary Conditional Operation

Unary Conditional Operation provides the NOT operation for a single operand.

How Conditional Logic Is Used

Conditional Logic can combine multiple Enbase values into a single true or false result that can be used by other monitoring or automation logic.
