Understanding Enalysis Vital Signs
Learn how to use Enalysis Vital Signs to quickly review an asset’s overall performance, open relevant trends, and decide when additional investigation is needed.
Vital Signs provides a quick view of an individual asset’s overall performance in Enalysis. It is designed to help you efficiently decide whether a compressor needs additional investigation or whether you can move on to the next asset.
What is Enalysis Vital Signs?
Vital Signs is an asset level view used to review overall compressor performance. The Enalysis navigation guidance describes it as a way to quickly screen an asset before deciding whether more detailed investigation is needed.
How do I access Vital Signs?
Vital Signs is available from the Asset View for a selected compressor.
- Log in to Enalysis.
- Search for and select the compressor you want to review.
- Open the Asset View for the selected compressor.
- Select Vital Signs.
- Review the available performance information and open relevant trends when additional context is needed.
What can I do from Vital Signs?
The source navigation guide identifies the following Vital Signs capabilities:
- View the asset’s overall performance.
- View and access trends relevant to the asset’s performance.
- For CREM and Detechtion users, set the asset’s Field Limited state.
How should I use Vital Signs?
Vital Signs is intended to support a quick asset review rather than replace the full Enalysis report. A practical workflow is:
1. Review the asset’s overall performance in Vital Signs.
2. Open a relevant trend when a value or condition needs additional context.
3. If the asset appears to require deeper investigation, open the Enalysis Reports view for full diagnostic information.
4. If no additional investigation is needed, continue to the next asset you want to review.
What trends can I review from Vital Signs?
The Enalysis navigation guidance confirms that Vital Signs provides access to trends relevant to the asset’s performance. The source does not list every trend or KPI currently available in the Vital Signs view.
Use the trends available for your selected asset to understand how performance has changed over time. If you need a detailed historical review, use the Enalysis Reports view to move between current and previous reports.
What is the Field Limited state?
The navigation guide identifies an option for CREM and Detechtion users to set an asset’s Field Limited state from Vital Signs. The same guide also states that the Production Opportunities view can separate assets categorized as field limited from assets categorized as non field limited.
The source material does not define the criteria that should be used to classify an asset as Field Limited. Follow your organization’s current process or contact your Detechtion Engineering Account Manager if you are unsure whether an asset should be classified this way.
What is the difference between Vital Signs and an Enalysis report?
Vital Signs is designed for a quick review of overall asset performance and relevant trends. The Enalysis Reports view provides the full diagnostic information for an individual report and allows users to move between the latest, previous, next, and much earlier reports.
Use Vital Signs when you want to screen an asset quickly. Use the full Enalysis report when you need detailed diagnostic information or want to investigate a condition more closely.
Can I open Vital Signs from fleet level views?
Yes. The navigation guide states that several fleet level views can take users directly to an asset’s Vital Signs view or latest Enalysis report. These include Blowby, Flagged, Non Reported, Power Saving Opportunities, and Production Opportunities.
