Max Allowable Engine Load is an Advanced Enbase Function used by Dynamic Control to determine the maximum allowable engine load as a percentage.

Inputs Used by the Function

  • Max Desired Load, which can be a customer entered maximum permissible engine load or Max Derated HP from Enalysis
  • Max Rated Load from the engine manufacturer specification, with a default of 100 percent
  • Limp Home percentage calculated by ESM2 when available, otherwise defaulting to 100 percent

Function Output

The Function returns the Max Allowable Engine Load percentage for use by Dynamic Control.
