Understanding OneView Asset Statuses
Learn what Normal, Offline, Danger, Alerted, No Data, and Standby mean in OneView and how each status should be interpreted.
OneView uses a set of fleet statuses to help you quickly understand the current condition reported for each compressor. These statuses appear on Fleet Overview, Fleet Map, and individual Asset Detail pages.
Normal
Normal means the unit is running and no warning conditions are currently being reported.
Offline
Offline means the monitoring device is reporting that the unit is down.
Danger
Danger means a HiHi or LoLo limit alarm has been received for the unit. Alarm limits are configured per compressor, so they are not one fleet wide threshold.
Alerted
Alerted means a Hi or Lo limit alarm has been received for the unit. These limits are also configured per compressor.
No Data
No Data means the monitoring device is not powered or is not communicating. OneView has not received enough current information to confirm the unit's true operating state.
Standby
Standby means the unit is known to be down, such as an intentionally shut in compressor.
Offline and No Data Are Different
Offline means the device is communicating and reporting the compressor as down. No Data means the monitoring device itself is not reporting, so the compressor's actual status is unknown until communication resumes.
