Understanding the Asset Dashboard in Enbase

Learn how to navigate the Asset Dashboard and use each tab to monitor asset performance, review alarms, analyze trends, and troubleshoot operational issues.

Overview

After selecting an asset in the Enbase Dashboard, you'll have access to several tabs that provide information about the equipment's current status, historical performance, alarms, and configuration.

Each tab provides a different view of the asset, helping you monitor operations and troubleshoot issues more effectively.

Asset Dashboard Tabs

Details

The Details tab contains administrative information about the asset.

Depending on your organization's configuration, this may include:

  • Unit Number
  • Lease
  • Engine Model
  • Compressor Panel Number
  • Asset Location
  • Additional equipment information

This information helps identify the equipment and verify you're viewing the correct asset.

            Tag Info

The Tag Info tab displays operational data in a table format.

            Information may include:

            • Tag Name
            • Last Known Value
            • Timestamp
            • Alarm Status

This view is useful when reviewing individual tag values instead of graphical displays.

                    Map

The Map tab displays the physical location of the asset using a satellite map.

                    This can help users:

                    • Locate equipment
                    • Verify asset location
                    • Differentiate between multiple sites

                          Charts

The Charts tab displays historical operating data using line graphs.

By default, charts display the last 24 hours of available data. Depending on your configuration, you can change the displayed time range using the available date or time selection options.

                          Charts are useful for:

                          • Reviewing operating trends
                          • Comparing values over time
                          • Investigating equipment behavior

                                Gauges

The Gauges tab is the default view for most assets.

It displays the most recent values received from the equipment.

Gauge colors indicate the current operating range based on configured setpoints, allowing operators to quickly identify values that may require attention.

                                Downtime Events

The Downtime Events tab displays recorded shutdown events for the selected asset.

Events are listed beginning with the most recent occurrence.

This information can help review equipment shutdown history and operational events.

                                Alerts

The Alerts tab displays alarms generated by the equipment.

Depending on your configuration, alerts may include:

                                • Warning alarms
                                • Data alarms
                                • Equipment status alarms

This view allows users to review active and historical alarm activity for the selected asset.

                                      Offline

The Offline tab displays the asset's Run Status history.

Run Status is determined based on:

                                      • Downtime events
                                      • Shutdown history
                                      • Running alarms

This information helps users understand when equipment was running or offline.
