Viewing Downtime Events in Enbase

Learn how to review downtime event history in Enbase to identify operational interruptions, analyze equipment availability, and investigate asset performance issues.

Overview

The Downtime Events tab provides a history of downtime events recorded for an asset. This information helps operators review when a downtime event occurred and better understand the asset's operational history.

Downtime events are displayed in chronological order, with the most recent events shown first.

Accessing Downtime Events

To view downtime events:

  • Sign in to the Enbase Dashboard.
  • Search for and select the asset you want to review.
  • Open the Downtime Events tab.

      The information displayed reflects the recorded downtime history for the selected asset.

      Information Displayed

      Depending on your organization's configuration, downtime events may include:

      • Event date and time
      • Event duration
      • Downtime classification
      • Asset name
      • Event status
      • Additional event details

                  • Review recent downtime activity.
                  • Identify recurring downtime events.
                  • Compare downtime events with alerts and recent trends.
                  • Better understand an asset's operational history.

                          Reviewing downtime events alongside Alerts and Charts can provide additional context for what occurred before or during a downtime event.

                          Before You Contact Support

                          Please provide:

                          • Your name
                          • Company name
                          • Asset name or unit number
                          • Date and time of the downtime event
                          • Description of the issue
                          • Screenshot of the Downtime Events tab (if available)

                                      What Happens Next?

                                      • A support ticket is created.
                                      • A Support representative reviews the reported downtime event.
                                      • We review the associated alerts, status history, and available event information.
                                      • Additional information may be requested if needed.
